Start with what you want to experience
Before choosing a country, think about what you're looking for in the experience. Do you want to practice a language, get to know a culture from the inside, work during your break or add an experience related to your profession? Write down your priorities and how long you can be away. That first decision helps you compare options that truly fit where you are right now.
Compare the day-to-day, not just the destination
An exchange is also lived in the daily routine. Work & Travel, Au Pair, professional training and study trips involve different activities and responsibilities. Look at what tasks you would do, who you would live with and how your time is organized. A city you love may offer a program that doesn't match what you want to do every day.
Review your profile and your timing
Read each program's page and prepare your questions about studies, experience, language and availability. Requirements belong to each program: don't carry them over from one program to another. If you don't meet a requirement yet, ask what you can prepare and when it would make sense to apply.
Put together a comparison before you decide
For your two or three favorite options, write down the length, activities, support, accommodation and confirmed inclusions. Separate program costs from travel costs and set aside some room for the unexpected. Bring that comparison to an info session with Interlatina: it helps you resolve specific questions and choose with real information, not just based on a photo.
