-We would like to know how you are and how you feel, as a participant in the Work & Travel USA program

It was a very nice experience, it was better than I thought. At first it is difficult to adapt but the months go by and then you do not want to return.

-What was the experience for?

I really liked the exchange with all the boys from there, I shared at home with people of many nationalities, and I was able to improve my English with native people from there.
At home we were around 20 of 6 or 7 different nationalities.

-Was the work as you imagined it?

Yes, I know, the truth that normal, it was not a difficult job but it was beautiful within everything, there are longer days and others that pass faster haha
Luckily we were walking to work because we were inside the hotel complex, we arrived in 3 or 4 min.

-How was the work environment? How was the relationship with other coworkers?

The atmosphere was one of the best things, they treated all the employees very well.
Even once we get together to eat at the chef's house haha very good vibes!

-What were the best things about your job? And the worst?

The best was dealing with coworkers and that after work we could relax, and the worst were the busiest days with more work that we wanted to finish quickly.

-What did you do on your days off?

On free days we went to the town, to the movies, to shopping and as this whole area surrounded by forest we also went for a walk there, we were able to go ice skating and we bought a car between 6 and we were going to tour the area.
I traveled 10 days before to Boston with my friend Leo, before I started W&T and I was able to ice skate for the first time.

-Were you able to see other places?

Yes, since I went 10 days before we went to Boston, afterwards we met Vermont, and when we returned we passed through New York but quite fast.
Maybe the last few days we wanted to stay longer but with all this we had to return quickly because of the pandemic we couldn't.

-What surprised you the most?

I really liked living with many boys and being more independent, in the house we were staying we had rules of coexistence and everything haha was very good.

-Any anecdote that you take as a souvenir?

In the house we always had parties and sometimes we proposed games, and in these games we had clothes, for example, the one who lost had to go throw himself in the snow without a shirt hahaha, but there we did not feel cold.

-What would you recommend to someone who wants to follow in your footsteps?

Let him do it! that it is a beautiful experience and that they will not regret it because you earn money, you improve the dialogue, get to know the culture better and you learn to express yourself much better!

All this information is very useful for us and for the boys who want to travel with the program for the next seasons, so we really appreciate your collaboration.
