-We would like to know how you are and how you feel, as a participant of the work and travel program
I'm great, to tell you the truth, I almost don't miss anything Argentina, maybe the food because here it's super different. Regarding the job, very well, I made a lot of friends.

- What was the experience for?
It served me more than anything to become independent, and it was also my first job, I learned more about responsibility, adapting to other things. And I also feel that I developed the social part, because I met many people very different from me.

- Is work as you imagined?
Yes, the truth is just what the job offer described. I work in the Spa of a hotel, my tasks are to accommodate the spa throughout the day, clean, replenish towels, and answer the questions asked by people who come.

-How is the work environment?
It's nice, I work with the receptionist, the manager and other resort employees. They are super nice, they are very friendly, there is a masseuse who always brings food, even once made homemade fortune cookies!

-How is the relationship with other coworkers?
Well, I work with two other J1, one girl from Cordoba, Argentina and one boy from Paraguay. We became very good friends.

-What are the best things about your job? And the worst?
The best ones, I think they are coworkers, I became a friend of a receptionist from the USA.
The worst is when there are no customers I get bored a little because there is not much to do.

-What do you do on your days off?
I usually go skiing, and other times we go to Salt Lake City, which is an hour away by bus, we also get together with friends, we have dinner, we are going to play pool.

- Could you visit other places?
Yes, Salt Lake City and when we finish the job contract we will go to New York and we are also planning to make a road trip with five or six friends.

What surprised you the most?
The thing that most impressed me? The people, who are very kind, the present religion is in this state, here there are many Mormons, who in Argentina do not see much. The landscapes also surprised me, they are very beautiful.

What would you recommend to someone who would like to follow in your footsteps?
I would recommend that you start looking for housing early, because we found it at the last minute.
I would also tell him to come predisposed to make many friends and say goodbye and cry because it is very sad to say farwell!

Any anecdote that you take with you?
With the girl from Córdoba we became friends with the male receptionist and his boyfriend we went to see a movie at their house and the next day we went shopping together!

All this information is very useful for us and for the students who want to travel with the program so we thank you very much for your collaboration.
Thanks to you!!
