Occupation: Management student

Company and position where you work:Orange Hospitality Group at Ober Gatlinburg, Food Service.

-We would like to know how you are and how you feel, as a participant in the Work & Travel USA program

Well, the truth is that I really liked the program, I learned everything and I am very happy to have done it!

-What is the experience for you?

It helped me to meet people from other countries, to develop alone in another country, to be more independent, to learn from other cultures and to improve my English.

-Is the work as you imagined it?

Yes! I worked on fast food, delivering orders and making sandwiches, I was always in my position luckily.

-How is the work environment? How is the relationship with other coworkers?

We became very close with my colleagues, we went out together after work, the relationship with them was very good.

-What are the best things about your job? And the worst?

The best was that he works indoors and it is not so cold haha, and the worst was that he was able to do a lot of work and we could not cope with the tasks. But I would choose it again!

-What do you do on your days off?

I did Snow or Ski, or we toured the city that had many activities such as going to games or going for a drink.
We also stayed cooking with friends but she was never alone.

-Were you able to see other places?

Yes, I went to Atlanta and when the trip ended I went to Miami.

-What surprised you the most?

I was very surprised by the city, I liked it! It was small but very nice, living in the same house with all those from the Ski center and who are from so many different countries, such as Malaysia.

-Any anecdote that you take as a souvenir?

There were many but now I don't remember hahaha.
Ahh yes. When we all went to the supermarket together, we took public transport because we didn't have a car, and we returned super loaded in the Trolley.

-What would you recommend to someone who wants to follow in your footsteps?

I would recommend that you find out what you want to work on, whether inside or outside in the center of the ski because it is very crucial that you like the work and you can adapt.

All this information is very useful for us and for the boys who want to travel with the program for the next seasons, so we really appreciate your collaboration.
