• HIGH SCHOOL EXCHANGE

  1) How long can I sign up for the program?
  - The deadline is April 15
  
  2) How do we submit the request?
  - Electronically, in Word format. Remember that personal photos must be in color!
  
  3) How many years did I have to have studied English to be able to do the High School Exchange?
  - A minimum of 3 years of formal study of the English language is required.
  
  4) At what age can I do the program?
  - You have to be between 15 and 18 and a half years old, when the program begins.
  
  5) Do I need to have any exam taken to participate in the program?
  - It is requested to have the IELTS exam with a minimum score of 215 (there may be exceptions).
  
  6) What academic information should I include in the application?
  - You must include information about the last 3 academic years and the grades of each year (and their translations).
  
  7) What is the grade point average that I have to meet?
  - Scores in the last three years must be better than a “C” average on the grading scale equivalent to the country of origin.
  
  8) If I already have accommodation in the USA, can I do the program?
  - yeah! Just write "Direct Location" on the first page of the application and submit the "Direct Placement Proposal" form with the application.
  
  9) How does the photo have to be?
  - 51 mm x 51 mm Photo ID, white background, “Passport Photo” style, smiling!
  
  10) Is it important to complete the accommodation preferences?
  - Yes. The best thing is that you can put in truth what your preferences are to assign you the accommodation in the house of your host family, so you will feel as comfortable as possible!
  
  11) Can I choose the destination in the United States?
  - Depending on the option chosen.

  12) Can I travel if I already graduated from school?
  - It is difficult, but in some cases applications are accepted from young people of no more than 18 years of age who recently finished school.
  
  13) Can I travel if I have specific allergies or diets?
  - In case of having severe allergies or dietary needs, as accommodation is usually in suburban or rural areas, it can be difficult to adapt to these communities, since they generally have animals.
  
  14) Should I get vaccinations to travel?
  - Yes, the vaccines listed on the application form are those required to carry out this program. If you do not have them, you can give them to them before making your trip.
  
  15) If I have a medical condition, should I specify it?
  - Of course. Any pre-existing medical conditions that may require attention during the student's program must be explained in the medical information.
  
  16) Will I be able to drive a car in the United States?
  - No, during this program students are not allowed to drive a motorized vehicle. Doing so will end the program.
  
  17) Am I going to study in the same year as in my school in Argentina?
  - The selected local school will determine in which grade the student will be incorporated and the diploma that the student will receive. We cannot interfere with the authority of the local school.
  
  18) Will I be able to do sports at the assigned school?
  - Athletic participation is not guaranteed, as you will be tested by the appropriate state or regional high school athletic association.
  
  19) Do I have a time limit to choose my host family?
  - So is. The deadline to select a host family is August 31, 2020 at midnight (Hawaii-Aleutian time). If you do it by the deadline, it may take a little longer for confirmation.

• What requirements are necessary to carry out the program in EEUU?

  None! Just that you really want to learn.

• Is airfare included in the cost of the program?

  No, but we offer special rates for youth, students and teachers.

• Do I need to have advanced English to enroll in the program of study in EEUU?

  No, it is not necessary since this course is to learn English based on your level!

• Is health insurance included in the cost of the program?

  No, but from the agency we offer Assist Card with high coverage, consult us for prices!

• Do I need a special visa to carry out the program?

  An exclusive study visa is requested, but you will be able to visit the whole place whenever you want!
