How much will they pay me?
All the participants have assured a minimum 25 hours of work a week, although they can work between 38 and 40 hours.
Examples of the minimum pay are as follows:
• Food and Beverage $13 – $15 per hour
• Housekeeping $13 – $15 per hour
• Front Office $15 – $18 per hour
• Culinary $14 – $16 per hour
How long does the application take?
The process can last between two and three months from when you send all the required documentation.

Requirements

- To be registered for a superior education course, or to have graduated no more than two years ago
- To show a genuine interest in the internship program
- Age: between 18 and 30 years old.
- A strong knowledge of the hospitality industry at both a national and international level.
- A minimum of 6 months' full-time experience with the principal hotel chains.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to work in a variety of departments
- Flexibility and willingness to work in rural and remote zones

Application process

If you are interested in the program, contact us for more information so that we can provide you with an estimate of the costs including the flight from your home and other factors.

In order to be able to participate in the program, you have to follow the following steps:
Step 1:
Prepare the documentation to present to InterLatina.
CV (it must be in English, here we give you a model, do not forget to attach a good photo).
Cover letter (in which you put why you want to participate in the program, what experiences in your life have prepared you for this experience and everything you believe you can contribute to the job. This is your sales weapon. Tell the employer your plans for returning to your country and how you think you can contribute to the growth of your country and how you think you can contribute to the growth of your company).

In this instance we will revise your CV and will will tell you if you qualify for the program. You will pay the registration fee and participate in an interview which evaluates your level of English.

Step 2:
In this instance, once your profile and level of English have been evaluated, you will have to formalise your subscription to the program by presenting the following documents:

Completed and signed application form
University or tertiary studies certificate
Letter explaining why you want to participate in the program (a form will be supplied to you)
Evidence of your funds to be able to do the internship for the required amount of time.

Also you will have to pay the confirmation cost.

Step 3:
In this stage you will have phone interviews with your possible employers. The jobs can be anywhere in Australia. The working hours are between 25 and 40 a week and the salary is AU $ 12-15 per hour.
Once your interview was satisfactory InterLatina will send you the "letter of offer", the description of the job to be carried out.
In this stage and once you have accpeted the placement and knowing what your salary will be, you will have to pay the cost of the program and prepare the documents to apply for your visa.

Step 4:
InterLatina will hep you with the visa process for the Australian consulate. This process usually takes time. It is recommended that you buy a flight once you have obtained the visa. The flight must be bought through InterLatina.
